Zia Yusuf, President & CEO
Zia is a seasoned senior technology executive having spent the last 10 years
at SAP AG, where he was Executive Vice President and a member of SAP’s Executive
Leadership Team. During his tenure at SAP he led the company’s efforts in
key areas including co-founding SAPMarkets — a b2b marketplace company — founding
and leading SAP global corporate strategy team and its design services team
and most recently as head of the global ecosystem & partner group where
he managed a network of 7,500 partners and the award winning SAP online communities
of innovation. Prior to SAP, Zia was at the Investment Banking Division at
Goldman, Sachs & Co.,
where he worked on corporate finance and M&A transactions. Before that, he
was at the World Bank Group for several years working on health sector issues
in Southern Africa, as well as project and structured finance in South Asia
and Indochina. Zia has a BA from Macalester College, a Masters in International
Affairs from Georgetown University and MBA from Harvard Business School. He
is also an Associate Consulting Professor at Stanford University where he co-teaches
a course titled “Experiences in Software Design” together with
Hasso Plattner, Co-Founder of SAP and Prof. Terry Winnograd. Zia is an advisor
to several start-ups and is actively involved as a board member of non-profit
institutions focused on education in South Asia and social entrepreneurship
in East Africa.

Tod
Dykstra, VP of Product Management and Service
Tod brings 15 years of management experience to Streetline, and a history of
building successful technology companies. As a Founder of Dust Networks,
he managed design, development and stable delivery of Dust’s ultra-low
power wireless mesh networking products. At NorthPoint Communications and
MFS Communications, he directed operational development and national rollout
of DSL and telephone networks delivering high quality service to thousands
of customers. Tod holds an MBA and BA, both from the University of California
at Berkeley.
Ken
Voss, Executive Vice President
Ken brings over 20 years of technology sales and marketing leadership. Prior
to joining Streetline, Ken was the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing
for Certain Software, a global SaaS company providing event management technology
to the Global 2000. A Co-founder at Spear Technologies, a leading enterprise
asset management company specializing in the public transportation industry,
he held key executive positions including Vice President of Sales, Marketing
and Business Development. Ken also served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing
for Enlighten Software, taking that company public in a
successful IPO. As Vice President and General Manager for SHL Systemhouse,
he was part of the management team that grew revenues from $15 million to
$1 billion.
Michele Senders, VP Government Affairs
Prior to joining Streetline, Michele was a District Director
to U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) where she handled a wide-range of policy
issues including technology, healthcare, transportation, and land use in a
seven-county territory: San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz,
Monterey, San Benito, and Alameda. As Streetline’s VP of Government Relations,
Michele guides design of Streetline’s solutions to yield the greatest
benefit to cities and the public. She holds a MA in social welfare
policy from the University of Southern California.
Jim
Reich, VP Engineering
Jim has been involved in Sensor Networks since the inception of the field. In
10 years as a researcher and Area Manager at the Palo Alto Research Center (the
former Xerox PARC), he worked on sensor networks ranging from low-powered collaborative
environment sensors to more complex acoustic and video sensors for human and
vehicle tracking, managing projects for Xerox, Fujitsu and DARPA.
Jim holds a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering (Space Avionics)
from MIT and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon
University. He is a 7-time winner of PARC and Lockheed Martin technical and team
excellence awards, holds 4 patents (with 23 pending) and is the author of numerous
technical publications.
Caroline
Fernandes, VP of Business Development
Caroline develops channel, technology and other partnerships with the leading State and Local integrators and Prime Contractors. She has fifteen years of experience in strategic business development and marketing for software and hardware products in the Wireless and Cable industries. She has developed products and partnerships for the entire networking value chain, from silicon (Libit Signal Processing--now Texas Instruments) and consumer devices (Samsung), to optical networking (Aurora Networks) and services (Comcast). She holds a bachelors in Economics from Fordham University and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Mark
Noworolski, CTO
Mark has been working with low power sensing technology for over 15 years. He co-founded Streetline, Inc. to leverage low power sensor design, mesh networking, and web technology to deliver valuable applications to cities. He is the chief architect of Streetline's patent pending vehicle sensing technology. Prior to founding Streetline, he was founder and CEO of muNetix where he commercialized and licensed high efficiency power supply designs for the consumer market. He has received numerous awards for design and innovation, holds four patents and is the author of many technical publications. Mark holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley and a BSEE from the University of Toronto.
Scott
Dykstra, Director of Service Delivery
Scott directs all aspects of operations and service for Streetline’s customers.
He has led development of Streetline’s service operation, and the successful
rollout of the company’s systems in San Francisco and Los Angeles, CA.
Scott holds a BA and PhD in Literature from UC Berkeley. He previously held the
position of Professor of English at Western Michigan University.
Paul
A. Toliver, Advisory Board Member
Paul has 34 years of experience in the transportation industry including
Director of the King County Department of Transportation, Transit Director for
Seattle Metro, Deputy General Manager/Chief Transportation Officer for the San
Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni) and Assistant General Manager for Operations
for the New Orleans Regional Transportation Authority. Paul is a current member
and former Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Norman Y. Mineta Institute,
a former member of the Board of Directors of the Intelligent Transportation Society
of America (ITSA). He is also a past Vice President for Management and Finance
of the American Public Transit Association and past National Chairman/President
of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials. Paul has both a Bachelor’s
of Business Administration and Master’s of Business Administration degree
from the University of Cincinnati.
Jason Chroman, Director of Finance
Jason brings over a dozen years of finance experience to Streetline. Most recently, Jason was Director of Operations Finance in the Broadband division of Yahoo, where he was generally responsible for the planning and reporting of the companies strategic relationships with AT&T, Verizon, British Telecom, and Rogers. He holds a BS in Political Economy of Natural Resources from the University of California, Berkeley and an MA in International Economics and International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Jason is a Certified Public Accountant and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
